Commitment to youth science education

As a first generation college student, I was unaware of the many opportunities out there for STEM careers.

I'm committed to increasing access to cutting edge research science by creating lessons that students may not get in their usual biology curriculum.

Involvement & collaboration with organizations

SMILE's mission is to increase underrepresented students’ success in STEM degree programs and careers, and deliver high-quality teacher professional development.

ORSEA connects math and science educators with scientists to create and pilot lessons centered around marine-focused anchoring phenomena.

This project is funded by Oregon Sea Grant and the National Science Foundation through OSU's Regional Class Research Vessel Project.

The mission of Letters to a Pre-Scientist is to connect each student with a STEM pen pal to humanize STEM professionals, demystify STEM career pathways, and inspire curiosity about a future in STEM.

The mission of the Cameron Champ Foundation is to transform the lives of youth from underserved and underrepresented communities through a focus on athletics, academics and healthy living.
